The movie I watched few weeks ago brought just a summary to my mind. That true life is when it is shared with others. It appears like absolute wisdom but is also significantly simple. I’m sure only a few of us would not concur to it – but only if we admit our loneliness. Let’s face it, does it really occur to us that others are important to our happy living? Put differently, are we constantly conscious of the fact that we are not isolated creatures in the midst of an overpopulated universe? Perhaps we are.

This modern world is filled with I, me and myself – we struggle for our own survival and tend to forget that others are necessary part of our survival. Think of it this way; there would be no food for you if someone is not busy all day to ensure the grocery store is well stocked. Ridiculously, some would even think that it is still their efforts that get groceries to their home – well if you do think so, it is still an evidence of the illusion and aloofness that characterize our living.
We live in a constant state of unhappiness due to this thinking pattern, which also denies us the feeling of our place in the world regarding the fact that we need others to live and survive. We constantly think we don’t need interaction with others to be happy. Well, this pattern of living is nothing new. It has even been spoken of by different people.
Caring for our health and nourishing our bodies is even a struggle for us since it is alienated from the real thing we do as we live day to day. We tend to perceive them as being in the opposite direction to our tasks, duties, jobs as well as responsibilities. Most times, the feeling is that life is a happenstance, and we just have no option but to be part of it. We don’t relent in trying to make little time to nurture ourselves; however, we end up having a sense of guilt even when we do so – why is it so?
People would always say that the reason is the perception we have that the little moment of nurture would rob us of the thing we have to do – what a lot of us see as life. This same life we are meant to be participants of at all times, the transitory life that we need to be conscious of without ceasing so that we can avoid being left behind.
