Cutting Costs

Guest post of the week by Bradley Guthrie

My husband and I have been looking for ways to save money. I am pregnant with our first child, and we know we need to be more responsible. It is going to be expensive to have a baby, and we want to at least try to do everything right. There are so many things we need to buy to prepare for the birth. Before I got pregnant we had no idea how expensive everything was. Diapers alone are going to break the bank! We want to cut back, but we want it to affect our quality of life as little as possible.

The first thing we did was try to find DIRECT TV DEALS in our area. A friend of ours said we could definitely cut our cable bill, so we thought that was worth a try. I am also going to try to cut coupons, and we are going to make an effort not to eat out as much. Hopefully these adjustments will be a good start, and then we will be able to take it a step further once the baby comes.
