Now this may be bordering on double standards, but when it comes to men, I want the traditional definition of beautiful. I couldn’t be gladder about the many advancements when it comes to how beauty in women is perceived. Nowadays, big women can be supermodel and more and more, different types of beauty are acknowledged globally. But when it comes to men, I am not as open to entertain new definition. Of course, this is just my personal opinion and should not be taken as anything other than an expression of honesty.
Metrosexuals do not excite me. They are so pretty. They are sometimes even prettier than me, at least they look like they spent a couple more hours in front of the vanity mirror, and a dozen more beauty products than I did. Whereas I just put on some cream to make sure the frizz is tamed, they looked like their hair has been sculpted. Even that just-got-out-of-bed do doesn’t deceive me. I know it took several products and at least a quarter of an hour to achieve.
Whew! Since when did men become more vain than women? What I don’t like most about them is that they really put this on as a show, for the praise and accolade that they can gather from their adoring fans. Vanity at its worst! No praises from me, then.
I also don’t care for the hiphops, those showing the crack of their butt by the hipster jeans they wear. Come on! And you pay a top dollar for that? As for me, I will still swoon over a masculine man, even if he is just wearing some old pair of jeans and a simple plain tee.

I don’t know who, where and how this metrosexual labeling to men came out. But as far as I could remember I think I heard this word sa “The Buzz”, lol!! I am one of the many (I guess) who don’t like a man who is more vain than me ^_^. And I haven’t seen or meet one who is metrosexual. But if I meet one I might confuse myself between metrosexual men to a gay ^_^ For me I will stick to the plan regular guy. ^_^
